Neurotoxins
Wrinkle-smoothing botulinum toxin type A injections are the most common non-invasive aesthetic procedure in the U.S.
There are several brands of prescription neurotoxin available that temporarily reduce or eliminate muscle contraction and tone when small amounts are injected into muscle. While wrinkle reduction is the most publicized benefit of "toxin", it can also be used to slim muscle silhouettes (ie calf or jawline slimming), shrink pore size and decrease sweat glad production.
BOTOX® (onabotulinumtoxinA)
Probably the most widely known brand of toxin.
Xeomin® (incobotulinumtoxinA)
Also known as "pure" Botox" because it contains no additive proteins which can create antibodies, making a person resistant to treatment. Resistance leads to "step up" dosing over time, requiring higher doses to get the same results, ultimately costing clients more money. Xeomin® is the only product that will work on clients who have become fully resistant to other brands.
Dermal Fillers
We use injectable dermal fillers made of hyaluronic acid (HA) to hydrate the skin and add volume. Hyaluronic acid is produced naturally by our bodies but diminishes with age.
Different fillers are better suited to different facial areas with results typically lasting from 6 months to 2 years before a touch-up is needed. HA fillers are also dissolvable by an aesthetic medical professional.
Dermal Fillers - Collagen Stimulators
RADIESSE® is an FDA-approved dermal filler that encourages your body’s natural collagen production process and reduces volume loss. Collagen is produced by your body to provide skin with support and structure, but the production declines over time.
RADIESSE is a gel of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA microspheres ). When this dermal filler is injected, the microspheres trigger collagen production to firm and smooth the appearance of:
Neck wrinkles
Facial hollowness
Marionette lines
Pre-jowl folds
Lower face smile lines
This injectable may also be used on the body to treat hands, elbows, above knee, decolletage or more. Think of this as your ticket to younger, firmer skin from increased collagen production.
Kybella - Fat Dissolving Injections
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected, KYBELLA® kills fat cells. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
Usually more than one treatment is needed for best outcome.
Microchanneling
While our other services focus on wrinkle and volume correction by addressing underlying facial structures - equally (if not more) important is skin health and quality.
Microchanneling creates skin that appears more youthful and perfected by 2 processes. A single use vial with pins is “stamped” across the skin creating micro-penetrations while delivering a serum rich in growth peptides, vitamins and hyaluronic acids deep into the skin. The micro-penetrations initiate the process of skin neovascularization and neocollagenesis improving texture and firmness while reducing scarring, stretch marks and skin pore size.
Microneedling with Radio Frequency
Our newest medical device - offering ultrafine needles that puncture your skin to make very tiny wounds. From these wounds, new skin replaces it free from the damage of time (fine lines, hyperpigmentation, superficial scaring, etc). Radio frequency stimulates your body’s collagen production slowly over the course of months, resulting in taut skin.
What to Expect
To make you comfortable, before the procedure, you’ll be given a topical numbing agent for the area to be treated.
Together, the needles and heat energy stimulate your skin into creating new collagen and hyaluronic acid, which help repair tissue and hydrate your skin, respectively. One session is about 20 minutes, and a minimum of three sessions is recommended for optimal results. It’s common, as well, to undergo touch-up procedures to maintain your appearance.
